First batch of IDI2017 talks announced

We already announced the Keynote of #IDI2017, Stefano Zacchiroli will talk about “Software Heritage: DevOps Challenges to Preserve our Software Commons”.

Now that the Call for Paper is closed, we are happy to announce a few presentations from international speakers accepted for the conference in Bologna.

Ben Kochie (Gitlab) – The Prometheus Monitoring System. From one of the project’s developers, a description of this new modern monitoring system.

James (Just James) (Red Hat) a.k.a. @purpleidea – Next Generation Config Mgmt: Autonomous systems. Mgmt is a new configuration system based on an innovative approach.

Steven Borrelli (Asteris) – Converge: a graph-based configuration
management system. Steven will focus on Converge, another modern approach a to system configuration.

Premshree Pillai (Etsy) – Continuous Deployment at Scale. How Etsy created a technical and cultural environment allowing to deploy production code 20 to 40 times a day.
