Matteo is a software engineer with a strong background in building and operating complex distributed systems. Fascinated by computer science since childhood, he combines solid foundations in programming languages and type safety with a pragmatic, production-oriented approach to software delivery. In his day-to-day work, he designs and develops large-scale, AWS-based and Kubernetes-backed systems, primarily using JVM languages, with a focus on maintainability, reliability, and operational simplicity.

Matteo is an active conference speaker and technical author. He frequently writes and speaks about Scala, type systems, and engineering best practices.
